The beautiful landscapes are overshadowed by the cruel sight of thousands of abandoned dogs and cats on the streets, most of them in poor health, with exposed wounds and serious skin problems, such as Mojito, a puppy who was burned with acid, or Chocorramo, a Creole who was attacked with a machete, severely damaging half of his body.
Faced with the indifference of the majority of the island's inhabitants and its government, the Adopt Don't Buy Foundation decided to organize health brigades to benefit the abandoned animals, which currently number more than 15,000.
This foundation plans its activities with the support of volunteers, setting a goal of at least 200 sterilizations to alleviate the extreme situation in this area.
For this reason, she launched a fundraising campaign to help with sterilizations and other supplies for the brigades, such as crates, vaccines, and dewormers.
We count on your support!
